From Titian's 16th-century Venus to Andy Warhol's iconic 20th-century Mickey Mouse, artists have long been inspired by fictional characters of mythology and culture. The Nave invites 21st-century artists to submit work inspired by fictitious heroes, villains, lovers and more.

Three different painters offer an opportunity to see and feel a single experience, the radiance of deep, strong color. Originating in diverse sources: architecture and apocalypse, unfamiliar landscape, and the ephemeral but organic nature of life, these works appeal to the eye and the heart.

Viewing times:
December 10 and 11, 1-5 pm
December 17 and 18, 1-5 pm

January 14 and 15, 1-5 pm
January 21 and 22, 1-5 pm

Opening Reception: Friday December 9, 5:30-7:30 pm
Closing Reception: Sunday January 22, 3-5 pm
