Call to Artists, 'The December Salon: An Affordable Art Sale' at The Nave Eight Days Only: 4-7 December 11-14 December Salon Hours: Thursday, Friday: 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Sunday: 1-5 p.m. OPENING RECEPTION: Thursday, December 4, 6-8 p.m. Artwork Drop off: Wednesday, 19 November, 6-8 p.m. Friday, 21 November, 1-4 p.m. Saturday, 22 November, 12-3 p.m. ARTWORK WANTED: This popular holiday event serves as a fundraiser for the Nave Gallery curatorial program. All artwork will hang on walls. Please have your work ready to hang with wire or appropriate hardware. Some 3D work will be considered if it stands on floor, or can be displayed on pedestals. The show will be hung salon style, and work will be taken down as sold and replaced. GUIDELINES: • A $15 entry fee payable to ARTSomerville to defray costs (NOT refundable). • Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces framed • Each artist may submit up to 5 pieces unframed for artbin (work must be shrink wrapped and/or sleeved) • A limited amount of 3D work will be accepted • All work must be labeled with artist name, title, medium, price & contact info • Due to space constraints, work no larger than 24” x 24” • Prices not to exceed $400 • Work will be juried. ARTSomerville and the Nave Gallery reserve the right to reject work for reasons of space and/or content • Each artist must sign a waiver of liability for theft and/or damage • Artwork should be priced to include sales tax • While not mandatory, participating artists will be asked to gallery sit for one 2 hour shift.
